A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA APPROVING THE BUDGET FOR
THE FISCAL YEAR 1982-1983, AS AMENDED
WHEREAS, the proposed budget for the fiscal year
1982-1983 was subm~tted to the City Council thirty-flve (35)
days pr~or to July 1, 1982: and
WHEREAS,the Clty Council held a public hearing on
said budget after a notice of said budget hearing was
published not less than ten (10) days prlor thereto: and

after sald public hearlng, the C~ty
Council considered further its proposed budget:
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the budget for the flscal year
1982-1983 as submltted by the City Manager and revlsed by the
City Councll WhlCh budget is entitled "Annual Budget, City of
Santa Monica, Fiscal Year 1982-1983", a copy of which budget

proJects budget, and the revenue detail, and does authorize
the City Manager to allot by major expend~ture category as
appropriated.
SECTION 2. That a certified copy of sa~d budget
be filed w~th the Director of Finance/C~ty Controller and
wlth the C~ty Clerk and certified coples of said budget be
reproduced and made aval1ab1e for use as directed by Section
1505 of the Charter of said City.
SECTION 3.
The C lty Clerk shall cert~fy to the
adopt~on of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
