A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING
JOHN H. ALSCHULER, JR., AND GREGORY SLAUGHTER
TO EXECUTE DOCUMENTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF
OBTAINING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE UNDER THE
FEDERAL CIVIL DEFENSE ACT OF 1950
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE:
SECTION 1. John H. Alschuler, Jr., City Manager and
Gregory Slaughter, Officer of the Police Department, are
hereby authorized to execute for and on behalf of the City
of Santa Monica, a municipal corporation organized and exit-
ing under a freeholder's charter adopted and amended from
time to time pursuant to the Constitution of the State of
California, applications and documents for the purpose of
obtaining financial assistance under the Federal Civil Defense
Act of 1950, as amended (50 U.S C. app. SS 2251-97)
SECTION 2
That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
