WHEREAS, the City of Santa t-bnica has a requira:nent for installing security
gates at Stewart Street and Virginia Avenue Parks and Santa Monica Beach and;
WHEREAS, the work must be performed :inmediately.

SECI'IOl~ 1. That the City Council finds the requiranent exists to install
security gates at Stev;art Street and Virginia Avenue. Parks and Santa M:mica
Beach.
SECTION 2. That the work rwst be perfonned imnediately and is of urgmt
necessity for the preservation of life, health or property.
SECI'IOO 3. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a
purchase agreanent for installing the security gates with;)ut advertising for bids.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full ::orce and
effect.
