A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA
ESTABLISHING BONUS COMPENSATION FOR
POLICE AIRCRAFT ASSIGNMENTS
WHEREAS,
the
City
Council
recognizes the additional
responsibilities for Police personnel assigned to maintain and
operate the Police aircraft; and
WHEREAS, the Chief of Police has requested a reasonable
competitive compensation bonus for such assignment;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Police officers/pilots assigned to the operation
and routine maintenance of the Police aircraft shall receive an
hourly bonus of $1.45 for each hour actually worked on operation
or ma intenance.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
