RESOLUTION NO. 6345
(CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH COOPERATIVE
PERSONNEL SERVICES, A DIVISION OF THE STATE
PERSONNEL BOARD FOR THE PURPOSE OF LEASING
STANDARDIZED TESTS
vlliEREAS, the City has occasional need for standardized
examination material; and
IVHEREAS, in some cases economic factors make it more
feasible to lease such material rather than developing said
material ~nternally, and
\~EREAS, Cooperative Personnel Services can provide
standardized examination material at a reasonable cost to the
City,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS.
SECTION 1. That John Jalili, Acting City Manager, is
authorized to enter into and sign agreements with Cooperative
Personnel SerV1ces for the purpose of providing standardized
examination material for the City of Santa Mon1ca
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same
shall be in full force and effect.
