CITY COUNCIL SERIES
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA HONICA WAIVING FORMAL BIDDING PROCEDURES
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ~1ANAGER TO PURCHASE ON
THE OPEN MAPJeET ONE NEW BEACH CLEANING MACHINE.
WHEREAS, there is only one firm known which can supply the
new beach cleaning machine.
WHEREAS, Section 2506A(l) exempts this procurement from the
bidding process.
NOW THEREFORE) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAJJTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby resolves to waive formal
bidding process for the procurement of one new beach cleaning
machine.
SECTION 2. The City rtanager is hereby authorized to execute
a negotiated contract on the open market for the procurement of
the new beach cleaning machine.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
thlS resolution) and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
