CITY COUNCIL SERIES
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA WAIVING FORMAL BIDDING PROCEDURES
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ~~AGER TO PURCHASE ON
THE OPEN MARKET ONE NEW THREE-~lliEELED MOTORCYCLE
1'ffiEREAS, there is only one firm known which can supply the
three-wheeled motorcycle and,
\VHEREAS, Section 2506A(1) exempts this procurement from the
bidding process.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby resolves to waive formal
bidding process for the procurement of one new three-wheeled
motorcycle.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
a negotiated contract on the open market for the procurement of the
three-wheeled motorcycle.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
