A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA AMENDING
RESOLUTION NUMBER 5190 (CCS) TO PROVIDE
FOR THE WAIVER OF FEES FOR PURCHASING
ANIMALS FROM THE ANIMAL CONTROL CENTER
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
Sectlon 1 of Resolution Number 5190 (CCS) is
amended to read as follows:
Section l. There will be a three dollar
($3.00) vaccination fee to all persons buying
a vaccinated animal from the shelterj there
will be, as well, a placement fee of ten
dollars ($10.00) plus sales tax for dogs and
five dollars ($5.0Q) plus sales tax for cats
purchased from the shelter.
The above fees shall be waived for any
senior citizen acquiring from the shelter a
neutered male or a spayed female animal. For
purposes of this section a "senior citizen"
means any citizen of Santa Monica who is 62
years of age or older.

SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
thIS resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
