RESOLUTION NO. 6381

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA REQUESTING AN ALLO-
CATION AND PAYMENT OF COUNTY AID TO CITIES
FUNDS FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF SELECT SYSTEM
STREETS (C-90)
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has appropriated certain monies
to the City of Santa Monica as County A1d to Cities; and
WHEREAS, the C1ty Council des1res to expend the amount of $364,934
of said funds accrued to the City for the ma1ntenance of streets on the City's
approved Select System.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The County of Los Angeles 1S hereby requested to allocate
$364,934 of the Aid to C1ties (A.T.C.) funds apport1oned to the C1ty for the
ma1ntenance of those streets on the currently approved Select System of Streets
(exclud1ng State H1ghways), on file w1th the Department of Transportation, State
of California, and lncorporated herein by reference.
SECTION 2. After the allocation is approved by the Board of Supervisors
and funds are available, the County is requested to send such allocated amount to
the City. The City w1l1 begin using the funds for the street malntenance accord1ng
to the terms of the allocation.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of thlS
reso1ut1on and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
effect.

SECTION 4. That the City Engineer shall forward a certlfied copy
of this resolution to the Los Angeles County Road Commissloner for processing.
