A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING
JOHN H. ALSCHULER, JR., AND WILLARD KEMP
TO EXECUTE DOCUMENTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF
OBTAINING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE UNDER THE
FEDERAL CIVIL DEFENSE ACT OF 1950
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE:
SECTION 1. John H. Alschu1er, Jr., City Manager, and
Willard Kemp, Sergeant of the Police Department, are hereby
authorized to execute for and on behalf of the City of Santa
Monica, a municipal corporation organ~zed and eX1sting under
a freeholder's charter adopted and amended from time to time
pursuant to the Constitution of the State of California,
applications and documents for the purpose of obta~ning
financial assistance under the Federal CiVll Defense Act of
1950, as amended (50 U.S.C. app. SS 2251-97).
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of th1S Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
