RESOLUTION NO 6412

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA WAIVING FURTHER FO&~L BID PRO-
CEDURE AND AUTHORIZING DIRECT NEGOTIATION FOR
PURCHASE OF A THREE BIN TRAILER
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Monica has a requirement
for a three bin trailer;and
WHEREAS, to the best of Staffrs knowledge only one
company can supply this equipment necessary for the recycling
program, and
NO~ THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council finds that the requirement
exists to purchase the three bin trailer
SECTION 2. This is a Proprietary or Sole Source procurement
under Sectlon 2506A of the Santa Monica Municipal Code.
SECTION 3 That the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute a purchase agreement for the equipment.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
