A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING RENEWAL OF THE
LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR USE OF THE PICO-RIMPAU
BUS TERl'1INAL
~BEREAS, the agreement with Southern California Rapid Transit
District ror use or the Pico-Rampau Bus Terminal will expire on
February 28, 1982, and
WHEREAS, use of this terminal is necessary for use as a
passenger interchange point; and
WHEREAS, the Southern Calirornia Rapid Transit District is
raborab1e to a renewal of the agreement for the period March 1, 1982
through February 28, 1985, at the rate of $1,000.00 per month,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council finds that the need exists to use
the Pico-Rimpau Bus Terminal for an additional three-year period.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is authorized to enter into and
execute on behalf of the City a three-year license agreement with the
Southern California Rapid Transit District for use or the Pico-Rampau
Bus Terminal.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in
full force and effect.
