A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A
HEARING DATE FOR ANY PROTESTS OR
OBJECTIONS TO THE REPORT OF THE
SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS REGARDING
REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS, DRIVEWAYS AND
CURBS. (SR-82-25)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Superlntendent of Streets
wlll flle a report of repalr pursuant to Sectlon 5617 of
the
Streets
and
Highways Code of the State of
Callfornia, relatlng to the constructlon of certaln
lmprovements to sldewalks and drlveways all wlthin the
City of Santa Monlca.
SECTION 2. That pursuant to Sectlon 5600 et
seq. of sald code, the Clty Council does hereby order
and declare that on the 27th day of April, 1982, at 7:30
P.M., ln the Council Chambers of the Clty Hall, it wlll
hear and pass upon the report by the Superintendent of
Streets of the cost of repalr, together wlth any
objectlons or protests, lf any, WhlCh may be ralsed by
any property owner llable to be assessed for the cost of
such repalr and any other lnterested persons.
SECTION 3.
That all protests or obJectlons
must be ln wrltlng and flled wlth the City Clerk on or
before
the tlme set for hearlng of protests and
objectlons.

SECTION 4. The Superlntendent of Streets is
hereby dlrected to mail notices, In the manner and form
prescrlbed by law, of the cost of repalr and of the
adoption of thlS resolutlon to all persons owning real
property affected by the s1dewalk assessment repair
program, whose names and addresses appear on the last
eQuallZed assessment roll for the Clty taxes or as known
to the Clty Clerk.
SECTION 5.
The City Clerk shall certify to
the adoptlon of thlS resolutlon and thenceforth and
thereafter the same shall be 1 n full force and effect.
