but outside the City of Santa Monica, for a total of 65 voting preCincts.
That the absent voter ballots were canvassed by a board appointed by the City
Clerk as provided for in the State of California Elections Code, and the
offiCial canvass was commenced by the City Clerk on April 16, 1931 and
completed on April 19, 1983.
That the voting was done by Votomati~ Machine EqUipment in accordance With the
proviSions of the state of California Elections Code. That there were 29,597
ballots cast including 2,478 absent voter ballots.
