A ~ESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA~ AWARDING CONTRACT TO CONSTRUCT
STREET LIGHTING IN STANFORD ST. BETWEEN
WASHINGTON AVE. AND MONTANA AVE., IN ACCORDANCE
WITH RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 5424 (C.C.S.)
WHEREAS~ the City Clerk of the City of Santa Monica, 1n open
session on the 7th day of January~ 1980, publicly did open, examine and declare
all sealed proposals or b1ds for doing the work ment10ned in Resolut1on of
Intention No. 5424 (C.C.S.) of said City Counc11~ declar1ng its intention to
construct street light1ng in Stanford St. between Washington Ave. and ~1ontana
Ave. Reference to said Resolution of Intention hereby 15 ~ade for the descrip-
tlon of the work and the assessment district and for all further particulars.
NOW, THEREFORE~ THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council hereby awards the contract
to the lowest responsible bidder, to wit:
S & W Electrical Contractors, Inc.
4601 East Slauson Avenue
Maywood~ California 90270
pursuant to their bid dated, January 7, 1980,
on file in
the office of the City Clerk, at the price named in their bid and hereby rejects
all other proposals or bids for the doing of said work.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk hereby 15 d1rected to publish the
notice of thlS award twice in the Even1ng Outlook, a newspaper published and
circulated in the City of Santa Monlca.

SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force
and effect.
