A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA APPROVING THE FILING OF REPORT OF WORK
AND SETTING A HEARING DATE FOR ANY PROTESTS OR
OBJECTIONS TO THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS REGARDING TREE PLANTING ASSESSMENT DISTRICTS
NO.3 AND 4 ON SANTA MONICA BOULEVARD.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Superintendent of Streets has f11ed a report of
work Dursuant to Sect10n 5882 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California, relating to the construction of certain improvements como1eted on:
Santa Monica Boulevard between Fifth Street and Lincoln Boulevard,
and between 14th Street and 17th Street within the City of Santa
MOnlca.
SECTION 2. That pursuant to Section 5870, et seq. of said Code. the
City Council does hereby order and declare that on the 25th day of March, 1980.
in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, it will hear and pass upon any and all
object10ns or protests to the report of work of the Superintendent of Streets,
and the amount of the assessment assigned against the real prooerty described in
said report.
SECTION 3. That all protests or objections must be in writing and filed
with the City Clerk on or before the time set for hearing of Drotests and objections.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to mail notices, 1n the
manner and form prescribed by law, of the adontion of this resolution to all persons
