A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA t10NICA ORDERING THE VACATION OF A PORTION
OF THAT CERTAIN STREET ~lOWN AS TWENTY-SECOND
STREET IN THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Ci ty Counei 1 of the Ci ty of Santa t10ni ca
having heard the evidence offered in relation to the proposed vacation
of that portion of the street known as Twenty-Second Street, 60 feet
wide, between Pennsylvania Ave. and Olympic Blvd., as shown on Map of
Erkenbrecker Syndicate Santa Monica Tract recorded in Map Book 6, pages
26 and 27, in the office of the R~corder of los Angeles County, hereby
~ I finds from all of the evidence submitted that the portion of the street
above referred to and proposed to be vacated by Resolution No. ~440 (City
Counc11 Series) is unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes.
For full particulars reference hereby is Made to said Resolution 5440
(City Council Series) and to Map No. 4241 on file in the office of the
City Clerk of said City; which map is entitled, "Map Showing Portion
of Twenty-Second Street to be Vacated Under the Provisions of the Street
Vacation Act of 1941," dated October 11, 1979.
SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Santa Monica,
in vacating said portion of Twenty-Second Street reserves the street
as a storm water conductor to the existing catch basins at its northerly
terminus and any changes in the drainage shall be approved by the City
Engineer.
