A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COU~CIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING DATE FOR ANY PRO-
TESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE CONFIRMATION OF ASSESS-
MENTS IN TREE PLANTING ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 3
ON SANTA MONICA BOULEVARD.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
AS FOLLm~S:
SECTION 1. That the Superintendent of Streets will file a
report of work pursuant to Section 5882 of the Streets and Highways Code of
the State of California, relating to the construct1on of certain improvements
completed on:
Santa Monica Boulevard between Fifth Street and Llncoln
Boulevard within the City of Santa Monica.
SECTION 2. That pursuant to Section 5870, et seq. of sald Code,
the C1ty Council does hereby order and declare that on the 22nd day of Apr1l,
1980, 1n the Council Chambers of the City Hall, it will hear and pass upon any
and all objections or protests to the report of work of the Super1ntendent of
Streets, and the amount of the assessment assigned against the real property
described in said report.
SECTION 3. That all protests or objections must be in writing
and filed with the City Clerk on or before the time set for hearing of protests
and obj ect ions.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to mail notices,
in the manner and form prescribed by law, of the adoption of this resolution
to all persons owning real property in the hereinbefore descr1bed assessment

district whose names and addresses appear on the last equalized assessment
roll for City taxes or as known to the City Clerk.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force
and effect.
