A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT GUTTERS ALONG
COLORADO AVENUE BETWEEN OCEAN AVENUE AND LINCOLN BOULEVARD
WITHIN THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Monica is empowered
by Sectlon 5870. et seq. of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California to construct gutters at various locations within the City of Santa
Monica;
NOW. THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the public interest requires and lt is the lnten-
tlon of the City Council of the City of Santa Monica to order the following
work to be done, to wit: The construction of concrete gutters along Colorado
Avenue from Ocean Avenue to Lincoln Boulevard all in the City of Santa Monica.
The estimated assessment cost of the improvement is $5.00 per front foot.
SECTION 2. That said proposed work or improvement in the opinion
of the City Council of the City of Santa Monica is of more than local or
ordinary public benefit, and said Council hereby proposes that the district
in the Clty of Santa Monica to be benefitted by said work or improvement
and to be assessed to pay the cost and expense thereof. includes all of the
property abutting Colorado Avenue between Ocean Avenue and Lincoln Boulevard.
SECTION 3. Notice hereby is given pursuant to said Section 5870
et seq. that on May 27, 1980, at the hour of 7:30 p.m. in the Council
Chambers in the City Hall of said Clty of Santa Monica. situated at 1685
Main St. in said City. any and all persons having any obJections to the
