A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA AMENDING THE REGULATIONS FOR THE
ADMINISTRATION OF THE CIVIC AUDITORIU~
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE THAT THE REGULATIONS FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE CIVIC
AUDITORIUM SHALL BE AMENDED AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 6 (Park~ng Lot) of Resolutlon 3579
(CCS) be amended as follows:
The Clty reserves the rlght to maintain and operate the Auditorium
parking lots located within the area under the supervislon and control
of the Director. City may contract with a person, or persons, for
the private operatlon of said parklng lots on a flat monthly basis or
on a percentage of gross rece~pts derived from all sources from such
operatlon, Avallable parklnq space may be rented at a fee not to
exceed - three dollars ($ 3. OOl per automob~le space per perlod of
occupancy, not to exceed twelve (12) hours. Parking for Auditorlum
events shall have precedence over parkinq for the general publ~c,
includlng City employees.
Notwithstandlng any prov~sions herein conta~ned, city may grant free
use of said park~ng lots to the general public.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
th~s resolutlon, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall he ~n
full force and effect.
