A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA ACCEPTING
AND APPROVING SUBDIVISION ~.AP OF
PARCEL-NO._l1846
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTIOll L That the Map of Parcel ~lo. 11846 ~n the C~ty of
Santa Monica presented by Ivo x. Stoka, being a subdlvlSlon for
condominium purposes of Lot 14, Block 13, Serra Vista Townsite,
as shown on Map recorded in Book 6, Page 138 of Maps, Records of
Los Angeles County, be and the sa8e hereby ~s accepted and approved.
SECTION 2. That t~e C~ty Clerk hereby is aut~or~zed and
directed to endorse upon the face of said Map th~s order authenti-
cated by the Seal of the City of Santa Nonica.
SECTIon 3. That the City Clerk sila1l cert~fy to the adoption
of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter tile saMe shall be
in full force and effect.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR
LAND AND WATER CONSERVATION FUNDS FOR THE OCEAN
VIEW PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Congress under Public Law 88-578 has authorized the
establishment of a Federal Land and Water Conservation Fund Grant-In-Aid Pr'ogram,
providlng matching funds to the State of Californla and its political subdlvisions
for acquiring lands and developing faclllties for public outdoor recreation
purposes; and,
WHEREAS, the State Department of Parks and Recreation is responsible
for the administration of the program within the State, setting up necessary
rules and procedures governing application by local agencles under the program;
and,
WHEREAS, said adopted procedures established by the State Department of
Parks and Recreation require the appllcant to certify by resolution the approval
of applicatlons and the availability of local matching funds prior to submission
of said applicatlons to the State; and,
WHEREAS, Part V of said applicatlons contains assurances that the
applicant must comply with; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed Ocean Vlew Park project is consistent with the
California Outdoor Recreation Resources Plan; and,
WHEREAS. the project must be compatible with the land use plans of
those jurisdictions immediately surrounding the project;

NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Santa Monlca hereby:
1. Approves the filing of an applicatlon for land and Water
Conservatlon Fund assistance; and.
2. Certifles that said agency has matching funds from the following
source(s}, General Fund, and can finance 100 percent of the
project, half of which will be reimbursed; and.
3. Certifies that the project is compatible with the land use
plans of those jurisdictions immediately surrounding the project;
and,
4. Appoints the City Manager as agent of the City to conduct all
negotiations, execute and submit all documents including but not
llmlted to applications, agreements. amendments, billing statements,
and so on which may be necessary for the completion of the afore-
mentioned project.
