RESOLUTION ~O. 5429
A RESOLUTIO~ OF THE CITY COU~CIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA HONICA, CALIFORNIA, PROVIDING THAT ALL
BALLOTS BE COUNTED AT A CENT~~L COU~TI~G PLACE
WHEREAS, It is desirable that all ballots cast by electors
at the Special Municipal Election to be held in said C1ty on Tuesday,
~ovember 6, 1979 be counted at a central place: and
liHEREAS, Section 17050 of the Elect10ns Code of the State
of California authorizes the City Council to provide that all ballots
cast at said Spec1al t1unicipal [lection be counted at a central
counting place:

CALIFOR~IA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETER~I~E AKD ORDER AS
FOLLOKS:
SECTIO~ 1. That pursuant to Section 17050 of the Elections
Code of the State of California, ballots cast by electors at the
Special Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday, November 6, 1979 be
counted at a central place.
SECTIOK 2. That Santa Honlca City Hall 1S hereby deslgnated
as the central place to count said ballots.
SECTIOK 3. That not1ce of the central countlng place lS
hereby given and the City Clerk lS hereby authorized, instructed and
d1rected to glve such further or add1t1onal notice of the central
counting place in t1Me, form and manner as requ1red by law.
SECTIO~ 4. That the City Clerk shall certIfy to the
