A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA, AWARDING CONTRACT TO CONSTRUCT
STREET LIGHTING IN THE AREA BOUNDED BY LINCOLN
BOULEVARD, SOUTHEASTERLY CITY LIMITS, HIGHLAND
AVENUE, AND MARINE PLACE NORTH, IN ACCORDANCE WITH
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 5354 (C.C.S.)
WHEREAS, the C1ty Clerk of the City of Santa Mon1ca, in
open seSS10n on the 12th day of November, 1979, publicly did open, examine
and declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing the work mentioned 1n
Resolut1on of Intention No. 5354 (C.C.S.) of said City Council, declaring its
1ntention to construct street lighting in the area bounded by Lincoln Boulevard,
Southeasterly City Limits, Highland Avenue, and Marine Place North. Reference
to said Resolution of Intentlon hereby is made for the description of the work
and the assessment district and for all further particulars.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l. That the City Council hereby awards the contract
to the lowest responsible bidder, to W1t:
Allbrite Electric, Inc.
3265 Fletcher Drive
Los Angeles, California 90065
pursuant to their bid dated, November 9, 1979,
on f1le in
the offlce of the City Clerk, at the price named in the1r bid and hereby rejects
all other proposals or bids for the doing of said work.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk hereby is directed to publ1Sh
the notice of this award twice in the Evening Outlook, a newspaper published
and circulated in the City of Santa Monica.

SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full
force and effect.
