A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA ORDERING HORK IN STANFORD STREET
BETWEEN WASHINGTON AVENUE AND MONTANA AVENUE,
WITHIN THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA! IN ACCORDANCE
WITH RESOLUTION OF INTENTION 5423 (CITY COUNCIL
SERIES).
WHEREAS! the City Council of the City of Santa Monica, on
the 23rd day of October! 1979, passed and adopted lts Resolution of
Intention! being Resolution No. 5423 (Clty Council Series), declaring
its intention to order the work described therein to be done, which said
Resolution of Intention duly and legally was published as required by law
and notice of said lmprovement has bp.en given in the manner required by
law and all written objections and protests to the proposed work or the
extent of the distrlct to be assessed were heard and considered by the
City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE! THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the public lnterest and convenience requlre!
and the City Council of the City of Santa Monica hereby orders, the work
descrlbed ln said Resolution of Intention to be done ln Stanford Street
between WaShington Avenue and Montana Avenue, withln the City of Santa
Monica. That any and all of said protests and objectlons of every kind
and nature to the proposed work or to the extent of the district to be
assessed be and the same hereby are overruled and denied.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk hereby is dlrected to post a notice
for 5 days on or near the door of the Council Chambers of the City Hall

inviting sealed proposals or bids for doing the work ordered and referring
to the speclfications on file and to publish a notice inviting such pro-
posals for two days in the Evening Outlook~ a newspaper published and
circulated in sald Clty.
SECTION 3. Reference hereby is made to said Resolution of
Intention for a description of the work, the assessment distrlct~ the
bonds to be issued and for further particulars.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoptlon
of thlS resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in
full force and effect.
