RESOLUTION NO. 6010

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA APPROVING THE BUDGET FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR 1980-1981, AS AMENDED
WHEREAS, the proposed budget for the fiscal year
1980-1981 was subm1tted to the City Council thirty-five (35)
days prior to July 1, 1980; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on
said budget after a notice of said hearing was published not
less than ten (10) days prior thereto; and
WHEREAS, after said public hearing, the Cit; Co~nc11
considered further its proposed budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the budget for the fiscal year 1980-
1981 as submitted by the City Manager, Charles K. McClain, and
revised by the City Council which budget is ent~t1ed "Annual
Budget, City of Santa Monica, Fiscal Year 1980-1981 submitted
by Charles K. McCla1n, City Manager," a copy of which budget is
attached hereto, be and the same is hereby approved and adopted;
provided, however, that each departmental budget is hereby
approved and adopted by the adoption of the total departmental
recapitulations which include amounts for salaries and wages,
supplies and expense and capital outlays.

SECTION 2. That a certified copy of said budget be
filed with the Director of Finance-City Controller and with
the City Clerk and certified copies of said budget be reproduced
and made available for use as directed by Section 1505 of the
Charter of sa~d City.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
