RESOLUTION NO. 6041

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA ALLOCATING $33~400 FROM THE PARKING METER FUND TO
INSTALL PARKING METERS ON 28TH AND 31ST STREETS SOUTH OF
OCEAN PARK BOULEVARD
WHEREAS~ the City Council of the City of Santa Monica has expanded
Parklng Meter Zone 0 to include 28th and 31st Streets; and
WHEREAS~ the expanded Parking Meter Zone D will require $33~400 to
be allocated to purchase and install parking meters: and
WHEREAS, Santa Monica Municipal Code Section 33928 states that reve-
nues collected from parking meters may be used for the purchase and installa-
tion of parklng meters.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council authorize the expendlture of
$33,400 from the Parking Meter Fund to purchase and install parking meters
on 28th and 31st Streets south of Ocean Park Boulevard.
SECTION 2. The Clty Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
effect.
