A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA SETTING A HEARING DATE FOR ANY PROTESTS OR
OBJECTIONS TO THE CONFIRMATIO~SSESSMENTS IN TREE
PLANTING ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 4 ON SANTA MONICA
BOULEVARD.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SNATA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. That the S~erintendent of Streets will file a report
of work pursuant to Section 5882 o1the Streets and Highways Code of the State
of Californiat relatlng to the construction of certain improvements completed
on:
Santa Monica Boulevard between 14th Street and 17th Street
within the City of Santa Monica.
SECTION 2. That pursuant to Section 5870t et seq. of said Cadet
the City Council does hereby order and declare that on the 26th day of Augustt
1980t 1n the Council Chambers of the City Hallt it will hear and pass upon any
and all objections or protests to the report of work of the Superintendent of
Streetst and the amount of the assessment assigned against the real property
described in said report.
SECTION 3. That all protests or obJections must be in writing
and filed with the City Clerk on or before the time set for hearing of protests
and objections.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to mail notices~
in the manner and form prescribed by lawt of the adoption of this resolution
to all persons owning real property in the hereinbefore described assessment

dlstrict whose names and addresses appear on the last equalized assessment
roll for City taxes or as known to the City Clerk.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force
and effect.
