'A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA ESTABLISHING TWO PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED ZONES ON:
(1) THE EAST SIDE OF 15TH STREET ADJACENT TO SANTA MONICA
HOSPITAL AND (2) THE WEST SIDE OF 16TH STREET ADJACENT
TO SANTA MONICA HOSPITAL.
WHEREAS. The City Council of the City of Santa Monica has enacted
an ordinance enabling indlviduals to request parking zones for physically handi-
capped persons; and
WHEREAS. Staff is in receipt of requests for two physically handi-
capped zones; and
WHEREAS. the Parking and Traffic Engineer has considered the re-
quests and concluded. based upon the factors stated in the ordinance. that
physically handicapped zones may be installed in the two requested locations;
NOW. THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. A physically handicapped zone is hereby established
on the east slde of 15th Street adjacent to Santa Monica Hospital.
SECTION 2. A physically handicapped zone is hereby established
on the west slde of 16th Street adjacent to Santa Monica Hospital.
SECTION 3. The Clty Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be In full force and
effect.
