NEGOI'IATIClil FOR PURCHASE OF T-SHIRI'S
WHEREAS, the City of Santa MJnica Recreahon and Parks D~vis1on
has a requirement for PrarotIonal T-Shirts for the August 24, 1980, lv1a.rathon;
and
WHEREAS, the City has mformally advert~sed for bids to supply these
T-Shirts;
NCW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA M:l:\IICA OOES
RESOLVE AS FOI.I.n'JS:
SECTION NO. 1 That the City council fInds the requirement exists to
purchase the Promotional T-Shirts.
SECTION NO. 2 That the informal bid SOllcition ~s suffICIent search
of the market and further bId SOlICItation would cause unnecessary expense and
delay.
SECI'ION NO. 3 That the City Manager 1S hereby authonzed to execute
a purchase agreement for the T-Shirts.
SECI'ION NO. 4 The City Clerk shall cert1fy to the adoption of this
resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be In full force and
effect.
