RESOLUTION NO. 6112

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING DATE FOR ANY
PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE CONFIRMATION OF
ASSESSMENTS IN TREE PLANTING ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
NO. 5 ON SANTA MONICA BOULEVARD.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS;
SECTION 1. That the Superintendent of Streets will file a report of
work pursuant to Sect10n 5882 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State
of California, relating to the construction of certain 1mprovements completed
on:
Santa Monica Boulevard between 17th Street and 20th Street
with1n the City of Santa Monlca.
SECTION 2. That pursuant to Section 5870, et seq. of said Code, the
Clty Council does hereby order and declare that on the 25th day of November,
1980, 1n the Counc11 Chambers of the C1ty Hall, it will hear and pass upon any
and all objections or protests to the report of work of the Superintendent of
Streets~ and the amount of the assessment assigned against the real property
described in sa1d report.
SECTION 3. That all protests or object10ns must be in writ1ng and filed
with the C1ty Clerk on or before the time set for hearing of protests and
objections.

SECTION 4. The City Clerk 1S hereby d1rected to mail not1ces,
ln the manner and form prescribed by law, of the adoption of this resolution
to all persons owning real property 1n the hereinbefore described assessment
d1str1ct whose names and addresses appear on the last equalized assessment
roll for C1ty taxes or as known to the City Clerk.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall cert1fy to the adoption of this
resolutiont and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force
and effect.
