RESOLUTION NO. 6127

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING DATE FOR ANY
PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE CONFIRMATION OF
ASSESSMENTS IN TREE PLANTING ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 6
ON SANTA MONICA BOULEVARD.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Superlntendent of Streets will flle a report
of work pursuant to Section 5882 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State
of Cal1fornla, relating to the constructlon of certain 1mprovements completed
on Santa Monica Boulevard between 20th Street and 23rd Street within
the City of Santa Monica.
SECTION 2. That pursuant to Section 5870, et seq. of sald Code, the
Clty Council does hereby order and declare that on the 9th day of December,
1980, In the Council Chambers of the City Hall, it will hear and pass upon any
and all objections or protests to the report of work of the Superlntendent of
Streets, and the amount of the assessment asslgned against the real property
descrlbed 1n said report.
SECTION 3. That all protests or objections must be in wrlting and
flled with the City Clerk on or before the t1me set for hearlng of protests
and obJect10ns.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to mail not1ces, 1n
the manner and form prescribed by law, of the adoptlon of th1S resolutlon to
all persons ownlng real property in the hereinbefore described assessment d1str1ct
whose names and addresses appear on the last equalized assessment roll for
City taxes or as known to the City Clerk.

SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall cert1fy to the adoptlon of
th1S resolutlon, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force
and effect.
