RESOLUTION NO. 6135

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA CONFIRMING THE
ASSESSMENT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A
HIGH PRESSURE SODIUM STREET LIGHTING
SYSTEM AND APPURTENANT WORK ON STANFORD
STREET BETWEEN MONTANA AVENUE AND
WASHINGTON AVENUE.
on the 12th
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Monica,
day of November, 1980 passed and adopted a resolution
approving a diagram of the property benefited by the construction of a
street light1ng system and appurtenant work on Stanford Street between
Washlngton Avenue and Montana Avenue, as described in Resolution of
Intention No. 5423 (C.C.S.);
WHEREAS, the assessment for the construction of a street
lighting system and appurtenant work on Stanford Street between Washington
Avenue and Montana Avenue, pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 5423
(C.c.S.), was filed in the office of the office of the City Clerk of said
City on October 14, 1980;
WHEREAS, all proceedings in connection therewith have been
in accordance with law; and
WHEREAS, at a public hearing on said assessment which hearing
was held on the 12th day of November, 1980 all written objections, protests
and appeals thereto or therefrom were heard and considered by said Council:
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the assessment for the construction of a
high pressure sodium street lighting system and appurtenant work on Stanford

Street between Washington Avenue and Montana Avenue, under Resolution of
Intention No. 5423 (C.C.S.), be and the same hereby is confirmed and
approved.
SECTION 2. That all protests and objections of every kind
and nature to the work or the assessment and all appeals to the City
Council are overruled and denied.
SECTION 3. That the Street Superintendent shall forthwith
attach a warrant to said assessment bearing the date of this order.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
