RESOLUTION NO. 6149

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENT FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A HIGH PRESSURE SODIUM STREET
LIGHTING SYSTEM AND APPURTENANT WORK IN THE AREA
BOUNDED BY LINCOLN BOULEVARD, CITY LIMITS,
HIGHLAND AVENUE AND MARINE PLACE NORTH.

WHEREAS, the C1ty CounCll of the City of Santa Monica, on
day of December, 1980 passed and adopted a resolution
approving a diagram of the property benefited by the construction of a
street llghtlng system and appurtenant work ln the area bounded by lincoln
Boulevard, City Llmits, Hlghland Avenue and Marine Place North, as
described ln Resolution of Intention No. 5354 (C.C.S.);
WHEREAS, the assessment for the construct1on of a street
lightlng system and appurtenant work 1n the area bounded by Lincoln Boulevard,
City llm1ts, Highland Avenue and Marine Place North, pursuant to Resolution
of Intention No. 5354 (C.C.S.), was f1led in the off1ce of the office of
the City Clerk of said City on October 28, 1980;
WHEREAS, all proceedlngs in connection therewith have been
in accordance with law; and
WHEREAS, at a public hearing on sa1d assessment which hearing
was held on the 25th day of November, 1980 all wr1tten objections, protests
and appeals thereto or therefrom where heard and consldered by said Council:

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. That the assessment for the construction of a
high pressure sodium street lighting system and appurtenant work in the
area bounded by Lincoln Boulevard, City L1mits, Highland Avenue and Marine
Place North, under Resolut1on of Intent10n No. 5354 (C.C.S.), be and the
same hereby is confirmed and approved.
SECTION 2. That all protests and objections of every kind and
nature to the work or the assessment and all appeals to the C1ty Counc1l
are overruled and denied.
SECTION 3. That the Street Superintendent shall forthwith
attach a warrant to sa1d assessment bearing the date of this order.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adopt1on
of th1S resolut1on and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full
force and effect.
