A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA WAIVING FURTHER FO~~L BID
PROCEDURE AND AUTHORIZING DIRECT NEGOTIATION
FOR RE-ROOFING OF JOSLYN PARK RECREATION
BUILDING
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Monica Parks and Recreation
Department requirement for Re-Roofing Joslyn Park Recreation
Building
\iHE RE AS , Time does not pe~mit formal bid procedures because
of possible rain damage.
liHEREAS, to the best of Staff's knowledge the H.C. Brandt
Co. has submitted the lowest and best proposal.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council finds that the requirement
exists to Re-Roof the Recreation Building.
SECTION 2. That further bid solicitation would cause un-
necessary expense and delay, and is hereby waived
SECTION 3. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to
excute a purchase agreement for the Re-Roofing of the Recreation
Building.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
