-A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
AMENDING RESOLUTION 375~-M (CCS)
SECTION 2 WHICH RESOLUTION AMENDED
REIMBURSEMENT RATE FOR USE OF
EMPLOYEE'S PERSONAL CAR.
WHEREAS, the price of automobiles, insurance, gasoline, and
other vehicle-related costs have substantially increased; and,
~iHEREAS, there has been no general increase in the reimbursement
rate or automotive allowances since February, 1975; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Monica is
desirous of establlshing a fair and equitable rate of reimbursement
for employees using personal cars for City business,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa
Monica does resolve as follows;
SECTION 1. Section 2 of Resolution No 3750-M is hereby
amended and shall read as follows_
Reimbursement for the use of an employee's personal
car and in accordance with existing administrative
policy shall be at the rate of 22.5~ per ~ile
SECTION 2. Automotive allowances shall be increased by 32%.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the saMe shall
be in full force and effect.
