(CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN WEEDS
GROWING UPON CERTAIN LANDS WITHIN
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA TO BE A
PUBLIC NUISANCE.
WHEREAS, there are weeds growing upon the streets, sidewalks and
upon certain lots in the City of Santa ~onica, which bear seeds of a wingy
or downy nature or attain such a large growth as to become a fire menace
when dry and are otherWlse nOXlOUS and dangerous, and
WHEREAS, there are accumulations of rubbish, refuse and dlrt upon
certaln streets, sidewalks and lots in the City of Santa Monica,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
THAT all weeds growinq upon the streets, sidewalks or upon certain
lots 1n the City of Santa Mon1ca, which bear seeds of a wingy or downy nature
or atta1n such a large growth as to become a fire menace when dry or which
are otherwlse noxious or dangerous are hereby declared to be a publ1C nui-
sance, and
THAT all rubbish, refuse and dirt accumulated upon streets, side-
walks or upon certain lots 1n the City of Santa Monica are hereby declared
to be a public nU1sance.
THAT the names of the streets and descript10ns of the propertles
in the City of Santa Monica upon which or 1n front of which said nuisance
exists are as follows
