A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA SETTING ~~TES FOR EMERGENCY TRANS-
PORT SERVICES
w~EREAS, the Flre Department has been authorlzed to
institute a 1lmlted ambulance transport system for emergency
medlcal serVlces: and
MiEREAS, the Fire Department has thoroughly studled the
cost of thlS system and has determlned the followlng rate schedule
would allow the Flre De9artment to provlde necessary transport
services at an reasonable charge to the cltizens of Santa Monlca,
NOW, TEEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following rate schedule will apply to
ambulance transport service 9rovlded by the Santa Monica Fire
Department:
Base Rate
$58.00
Additlonal Charges:
Standby Time
3.25 per mile

9.00
9.00 per 15 minute perlod
29.00 per additlonal victlm
Mlleage
Night Servlce
(7 : 00 p. M. . to 7: 00 a. m. )
