A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING RENEWAL OF THE
LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR USE OF THE PICO-RIMPAU
BUS TERMINAL
l1HEREAS. the agreement with Southern California Rapid Transit
District for use of the Pico-Rimpau bus terminal expired February 28,
1979; and
WHEREAS, use of this terminal is necessary for use as a
passenger interchange point; and
l~EREAS, the Southern California Rapid Transit District is
favorable to a renewal of the agreement for the period March 1. 1979
through February 28, 1982.
NOl.]. THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS.
SECTION 1. That the City Council finds that the need exists
to use the Pico-Rimpau Bus Terminal for an additional three-year period.
SECTION 2. That renewal of the license agreement with the
Southern California Rapid Transit is authorized.
SECTION 3
The City Manager, City of Santa ~onica is
authorized to execute this agreement on behalf of the City.
