RESOLUTION NO. 5303 (CC5)
(CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA COMMENDING SCHILLER A. COLBERG FOR HIS DEDICATED AND
DISTINGUISHED SERVICE TO THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA.
WHEREAS, SCHILLER A. COLBERG has served the Santa Mon~ca Un~fied
school D~strict and the Santa Monica Communlty College for a total of twenty
years between 1959 and 1979, and
WHEREAS, durlng that perlod of time he has devoted much t~me and
energy to the well-be~ng of the students of Santa Monica College and the
Santa Monlca Unlfled School Dlstrlct, and
WHEREAS, SCHILLER A. COLBERG served as a President of the JOlnt
Board In 1964 and 1968 and as Vice Pres~dent of the Joint Board in 1967, and
as Vlce Chairman of the College Dlstrict ln 1971;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Councll of Santa Monica does resolve as
follows:
That SCHILLER A. COLBERG 15 hereby commended for h15 long years
of falthful and dedlcated servlce to the students of the Clty of Santa Monicai
That the City Councl1 of the City of Santa Monlca, on behalf of
ltself and on behalf of the citizens of this community, expresses its profound
apprec~atlon to SCHILLER A. COLBERG for hlS long and dedicated servlce;
That the Clty Clerk is dlrected to send a certlfled copy of thlS
resolution to SCHILLER A. COLBERG, and
That the Clty Clerk shall certlfy to the adoptlon of this resolution
and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
