RESOLUTION NO. 5307 (CCSL
(City Council Series)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING
INFORMAL BID PROCEDURE FOR THE PURCHASE
OF ONE 3-REEL MOWER.
WHEREAS, The purchase of one 3-reel mower has been approved by
Council; and,
WHEREAS, formal bid procedure would entail additional expense
and delay with no assurance of tangible benefit to the City; and,
WHEREAS, informal bid procedure in this instance would satisfy
the intent of the formal bid requirewents prescribed by this City Charter
and Municipal Code,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Counc,l finds that formal bid procedure
in thlS instance would entail additional expense and delay wlth no assurance
of tanglble benefit to the City.
SECTION 2. That purchase of one 3-reel mower is authorized
through lnformal bid procedure.
