RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF S&~TA MONICA co~mNDING
SCHILLER A. COLBERG FOR HIS OUTSTANDING
COMMUNITY SERVICE TO THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA
WHEREAS, Sch~ller A. Colberg, the Scout Execut~ve
of the Great Western Counc~l, Boys Scouts of America, ~s
ret~r1ng after a successful career of over forty years as
a Scout professional and thirteen years as a Scout volunteer:
and
WHEREAS, Sch~ller A. Colberg has served more than
a m~111on boys 1n Scouting, hand1capped adults through leader-
sh~p 1n the Goodw1l1 Industr1es and act~ve assOC1ated organ-
1zat1ons: and
WHEREAS, Sch~ller A. Colberg has voluntar11y served
as a member of the Santa Mon1ca Un1f1ed School D1str1ct's
Board of Educat10n and Trustee of the Santa Mon1ca College
for more than twenty years, hav1ng been elected as Pres1dent
three t1mesi and

DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS POLLONS:
SECTION 1. Schiller A. Colberg is hereby commended
for his outstand~ng and selfless serVlce to the communlty.
SECTION 2. The C~ty Clerk shall cert~fy to the
adopt~on of thls resolut~on, and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be 1n full force and effect.
