A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA SUPPORTING THE
EFFORTS OF ECOLO-HAUL WITHIN THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA.
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Monica IS aware of the necessity of resource
recovery and recycling; and
WHEREAS, Ecola-haul has serviced the City of Santa Monica sinee 1973
with the establishment and operation of the Santa Monica RecyclIng Center; and
WHEREAS, Ecola-haul has worked with the employees of the Police
Department and City of Santa Monica at City Hall in operating a White Paper
Recycling Program sInce January, 1978, and
WHEREAS. this service has been reI iable and of benefit to the City
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS;
SECTION 1. That the City Council supports Ecolo-haul and its
reeyel lng efforts within the City'of Santa Monica
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force
and effect.
