Recorder's Off".~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA ORDERING THE VACATION OF THAT PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN STREET KNOWN AS ASHLAND AVE. BETWEEN NEILSON WAY AND THE SOUTHWESTERLY LINE OF TRACT NO. 7425, ALL IN THE CITy OF SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA. \ UREE LJ ~ THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Santa Monica having heard the evidence offered in relation to the proposed vacation of that certain street known as Ashland Ave. between Neilson Way and the southwesterly line of Tract No. 7425, as shown on the map of Tract No. 7425 in the City of Santa Monica, County of Los Angeles, State of California, recorded in Map Book 86, pages 63 et. seq.~ in the office of the Recorder of said County, hereby finds from all of the evidence submit~ed that the street above referred to and proposed to be vacated and abandoned by Resolution No. 5099 (City Council Series) is unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes. For full particulars reference hereby is made to said Resolution No. 5099 (City Council Series) and to Map No. 4202 on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City; which map is entitled~ ItMap Showing Porticn of Ashland Ave. Between Neilson Way and Approximately 91 Feet Northeasterly~ to be Vacated Under the Provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 1941~1I dated September 15, 1978. SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Santa Monica~ in vacating said portion of said Ashland Ave. hereby reserves an easement over the full width of said street for utility pu:poses and further hereby restricts the right of any building construction over said street.
