A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA APPROVING
AND RATIFYING A MEMORANDUM OF
UNDERSTANDING BE~qEEN THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA AND SANTA MONICA LIBRARY
CUSTODIANS ASSOCIATION
WHEREAS, Section 2106 of Ordlnance BOl(CCS) of
the City of Santa Monlca requires the preparatlon of a
wrltten Memoran?um of Understanding between the adminis-
tration and recognized employee organizatlons, if an
agreement can be rearlhed~ and
WHEREAS, Section 2106 of Ordinance B01(CCS) of
the City of Santa Monica further provides that any such
Memorandum of Understanding shall not be binging and shall
be presented to the governing body for ratification.
NOW, THEREFORE, the city Council of the City of
Santa Monlca does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The Clty council does hereby approve,
and authorize the City Manager to execute that certaln
Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Santa Monica
and the representatives of the Santa Monica Library custodians
Associatlon, WhlCh is attached hereto.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certlfy to the
adoption of this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
