FOR THE CITY'S PUBLIC LIABILITY
CHECKS ISSUED OCTOBER 1978.
WHEREAS, on January lO, 1978, the CITY OF SAWTA
MONICA entered into an agreement, being Contract No. 2440 (CCS)
with the Brown Brothers AdJusters to adjust; (ll Liab1l1ty
under the PubllC L1abillty Act of 1923; (2) Its liabil1ty for
the mun1clpal bus I1nes; and (3) Its 11ab1l1ty for its auto-
motive fleet exclud~ng 1ts ~unlcipal bus lines: and,
\nfEREAS, pursuant to the authority contained in the
forego1ng contract, the Brown Brothers Adjusters have effected
settlements 1n the amounts shown.
