RESOLUTION NO. 5133
(CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA ORDERING THE PLANTING OF TREES ALONG
LINCOLN BOULEVARD BETWEEN OCEAN PARK BOULEVARD
AND THE SOUTH CITY LIMITS IN ACCORDANCE WITH
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION 5097 (CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Monica, on
the 26th day of September, 1978, passed and adopted 1t5 Resolution of
Intention, be1ng Resolutlon No. 5097 (City Councll Serles), to order the
work described therein to be done, which in accordance with said Reso-
lution of Intention duly and legally notices were posted along the line
of the proposed project and written notices of said improvement have
been given ln the manner required by law and any and all written objec-
tions and protests to the proposed work or the extent of the distrlct
to be assessed were heard and considered by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS~
SECTION 1. That the public interest requires, and the City
Council of the City of Santa Mon1ca hereby orders the tree planting
described ln said Resolution of Intentlon to be done along Llncoln
Boulevard between Ocean Park Blvd. and the South City Limits within the
City of Santa Monica. That all of said protests and objections of every
kind and nature to the proposed work or to the extent of the district
to be assessed be and the same hereby are overruled and denied.
SECTION 2. The Street Superintendent hereby is directed
to commence the tree planting above described after a sixty (60) day
period wherever the property owners have not started the tree planting
proJect themselves.
