A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA APPROVING
AND RATIFYING A MEMORANDUM OF
UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA ~ND INDIVIDUAL MANAGEMENT
EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, Section 2106 of Ordinance 801 (CCS) of the Clty
of Santa Monica requ1res the preparation of a written Memorandum
of Understanding between the admlnlstratlon and recognized employee
organlzations, If an agreement can be reached; and
WHEREAS, Section 2106 of Ordinance 801 (CCS) of the
CIty of Santa Monica further provIdes that any such Memorandum
of Understanding shall not be bIndlng and shall be presented to
the governing body for ratificatIon.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City CounCIl of the CIty of Santa
Monlca does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1.
The City CounCIl does hereby approve, and
authorize the City Manager to execute that certaIn Memorandum
of Understanding between the City of Santa Monica and individual
management employees, which is attached hereto.
SECTION 2.
The Clty Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of thIS resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
