A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
COMMENDING GEORGE P. TIELSCH, POLICE CHIEF
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
WHEREAS, GEORGE P. TIELSCH, CHIEF, SANTA MONICA POLICE
DEPARTMENT, has served the Clty of Santa Monlca as Chlef of Pollce
Slnce Aprll 1, 1974, and
WHEREAS, durlng his serVlce as Police Chief, he exhlblted
excellent qualities of admlnlstratlve leadership, and
WHEREAS, Chlef Tlelsch has chosen to accept the posltion
of Chlef of Pollce of the Clty of AnahelM, Callfornla1
NOW, THEREF0RE, The Santa Monlca City Counell does resolve
that George P. Tlelsch be commended for hlS exceptlonal serVlce to
the C1.ty, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Santa Monica City Council
express deep appreclation to Georqe for hls dedlcation and whole-
hearted devotion to the well-being of the Clty - and wlsh h1.m well
ln hlS new endeavor.
