FYING - THE COl4.PRmUSE OF CLAIMS FOR
THE CITY'S PUBLI~ LIABILITY CHECKS
ISSUED JANUARY 9 - JANUARY 25, 1979.
WHEREAS, on January 10, 1978, the CITY OF SANTA MONICA
entered into an agreement, being Contract No. 2440 (CCS) with
the Brown Brothers Adjusters to adjust:
(1) Llabi1ity under
the Public Llabi1ity Act of 1923: (2) Its 11abillty for the-
munlcipa1 bus lines; and (3) Its 1iabi11ty for lts automotive
fleet excluding lts munlcipa1 bus lines; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant ot the authority contalned in the fore-
gOlng contract, the Brown Brothers Adjusters have effected settle-
ments in the amounts shown.
