RESOLUTION NO. 7013 (CCS)
(CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING
DATE FOR ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO
THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS,
DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS (SR-85-54)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1- That the Superintendent of Streets will
file a report of repaIr pursuant to Section 5617 of the Streets
and HIghways Code of the State of CalIfornia, relating to the
construction of certaIn improvements to s1dewalks and driveways
at 1043 PrInceton, 312 24th St., 609 24th St. t 1146 24th St. ,
1434 24th St. , 1433 24th St. , 1218 11 th St. , 311 24th. , 303
24th. , 938 2nd St. , 1315 Georgina, 912 M1chigan, 913 MichIgan,
1142 24th St. , and 445 24th St. , all wIthin the Clty of Santa
Monica.
SECTION 2. That pursuant to Sect10n 5600 et seq. of said
c cd e , the CIty Council does hereby order and declare that on the
11th day of June, 1985, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers of
the City Hall, it w111 hear and pass upon the report by the
Superintendent of Streets of the cost of repair, together wIth
any objectIons or protests, If any, WhICh may be ra1sed by any
property owner 11able to be assessed for the cost of such repalr
and any other 1nterested persons.

SECTION 3. That all protests or obJections must be in
wrItIng and fll ed with the City Clerk on or before the tIme set
for hear1ng of protests and obJectIons.
SECTION 4. The Superintendent of Streets IS hereby
dlrected to mall not1ces, ln the manner and form prescrIbed by
law, of the cost of repair and of the adoption of thlS Resolution
to all persons owning real property affected by the sldewalk
assessment repair program, whose names and addresses appear on
the last equalized assessment roll for the City taxes or as known
to the CIty Clerk.
SECTION 5. The CIty Clerk shall certIfy to the adoptIng
of this Resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be In full force and effect.
SECTION 6. The C1ty Clerk shall certIfy to the adoptlon
of this Resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
